| Opera shows on Travets hill in Veliko Tarnovo are revived |

For the first time in the history of the National Opera House, the season will not be opened in the Opera house. Its new manager, Mr Plamen Kartalov, decided the season for 2008-2009 to begin on the historic hill of Tsarevets.
Just there more than 20 years ago maestro Kartalov initiated a project which later was moved to Sofia under the name “Opera in the square”.
On the 12th of September the opera theatre by Puchini – “Turandor” will be presented of the historic hill in Veliko Tarnovo. 100 years of the birth of Martin Golemino will be solemnized on the 13th of September; the ballet theatre “Zorba the Greek” will be presented on the 14th of September.
There are tickets available for all shows which will be the most memorable events in Veliko Tarnovo for the past months, announced Darik Radio. |
