| Growth of trips of Bulgarian citizens in July |

Trips of Bulgarian residents abroad in July 2012 were 404,600, or 12.0% more than in June and 7.0% higher compared with July 2011, the National Statistics Institute informed. Increase of the trips of Bulgarian citizens compared to the same month of the previous year was reported to: Spain - by 92.1%, Austria - by 90.4%, Germany – by 63.9%, France - by 63.0%, and others. There is decrease in travel to Britain - by 56.1%, Serbia - by 31.9%, and Belgium - 22.6%.
The largest share of total trips of Bulgarian residents abroad form the trips for other purposes (visits, training, attend cultural and sporting events) - 45.0%, followed by holiday trips - 34.9%, and an business trips - 20.1%. |
