Bulgaria Moves to Lure Belorussian Tourists
Thursday, Apr 12, 2012
Bulgarian tour operators will try to attract Belorussian tourists during the "Leisure 2012" international tourism fair in Minsk.

The Balkan country will be represented at the fair by a pavilion covering 90 square meters.

Bulgaria's Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism has pointed out that the country wants to attract Belorussian tourists not only for its summer resorts, but rather present itself as a year-round tourist destination that also offers Spa and winter tourism.

In 2012, a total of 40 000 tourists from Belarus visited Bulgaria.

This year's "Leisure" international tourism fair in Minsk is to be held between April 11 and April 14.
