There is a trend of exceptionally high tourist interest in Varna and its summer resorts in 2011, compared to the last 10 years, representatives of the municipality’s administration in the city said, Cherno More Daily reported.
Tourists will fly from 30 German airports to Bulgaria in summer season 2011, the Varna’s mayor Kiril Yordanov said. This result is shown from the extremely high number of bookings made for the summer vacation.
The increased tourist interest shown in Varna and its resorts is probably due to the city’s presentations on the number of international tourist fairs, Yordanov concluded.
The Frankfurt am Main’s specialized office collaboration also contributes to the rising interest of German tourists in Varna, the mayor said.
