| Bulgarians Spent BGN 800 M This Christmas |

Bulgarians have spent more than BGN 800 M during the Christmas holidays this year, which is the total amount spent on Christmas and New Year’s celebrations last year.
According to the Bulgarian private TV channel bTV, in December, Bulgarians spent twice more than any other month this year.
Traders from the big chains are firm that the turnover in December is better than last year, when they registered revenue of BGN 800 M.
The exact data for the holiday spending will be announced January 14, 2011, when the date for submitting tax declaration is.
In the meantime, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry warned traders to change their schedule for retraction of turnover because of the frequent robberies. |
