The recent warm weather across the UK has not dampened the demand for buying property abroad, a media outlet has said. According to Your Mortgage, Britain could face one of the hottest summers in living memory this year. However, the news provider believes this may not be enough to stop people looking for a second home in a country which offers guaranteed sunshine all year round. Therefore, it has recommended that people carry out thorough research into their chosen market before committing to a purchase. Your Mortgage commented: "By making an investment that they can themselves enjoy in the summer and winter months." The website added that buying a foreign property can be a good way of combining business with pleasure. This comes after the Association of International Property Professionals revealed that second home buyers in the UK spent £24 billion on property abroad last year. |
