Bulgaria to cooperate with world media to promote itself as four-season tourist destination
Monday, Apr 16, 2018
The government has provided an additional EUR 840,000 to implement the Annual Program for National Tourism Advertising.

The program envisages sustainable development and promotion of cultural and historical tourism coupled with boosting niche types of tourism in a bid to challenge seasonality. This also implies collaboration with leading global media to reach out to target audiences.

In 2017 Bulgaria was visited by close to 8.9 million foreign tourists. This was an increase of 7.6% on the same period of 2016.
